Zoe Moore graduated from Oxford University with a BA Hons Biology and from Southampton University with MSc Environmental Sciences.


About the Job:
I am a Project manager/coordinator - Managing and setting up projects. These vary enormously from implementing ISO14001 to developing blades incorporating stealth technology.

It is a large company so there are many potential roles. We are allowed to be responsible for our own work and therefore have the chance to develop a lot of skills. The company has demonstrated that it is very accommodating if good people want to change direction or develop their careers in a particular direction.


What do you love about Island life:
The people are friendly and talk to each other unlike many towns. It seems very easy to meet people.

I love walking down to the sea after work when the sea is really rough. I love being able to sail in the evenings and weekends and being able to go out kayaking in my lunch time at work, there are not many places you could do that.
I love being able to have a BBQ on the beach on summers evenings after work. I love the fact that there is no pressure to stay in work until 9 or 10 o’clock like most of my friend experience in London and other big cities.
