Seaward Marine

Seaward Marine is the UK’s leading builder of traditional offshore motorboats. Established in Guernsey over 20 years ago, the company has built up an impressive reputation amongst its customer base.

In 2001 Seaward Marine made a decision to leave Guernsey and began the search for a new home. Encouraged by the Isle of Wight Economic Partnership, Barry Kimber, Managing Director of Seaward Marine identified Cowes as suitable location for his business. In early 2002 the move to new premises in Cowes was completed.

The relocation strategy was to kick-start new business growth, access funding, reduce business costs, improve supply chain linkages and recruit willing, skilled employees. The team worked with Seaward initially to source premises and access grant funding.  More recently we have worked with Seaward Marine to help gain them national PR on the BBC Working Lunch programme.
