Isle of Wight Ambassador Rob Sauven

Rob Sauven is the Managing Director for Vestas Blades, based in Newport on the Isle of Wight.  Vestas produce blade technology for the wind energy market.

Rob and his wife Maggie are so passionate about the environment, that they have built an eco home in Gurnard on the Island. 

The property fits with the lifestyle they aspire to lead. The house uses eco-friendly timber cladding, mechanical ventilation to recycle warm air around the house, solar panels to heat the water, and a collection system to re-use rainwater.

We used this story to gain Rob a PR feature in Coast Magazine, which not only helped promote Vestas blades, but also promoted the Isle of Wight and the beautiful environment.

Rob lives on the seafront, and loves the lifestyle he can achieve on the Island, and through his day to day business activities he promotes this story to both national and international clients.
