“I’ve learned a lot about the good bits and the bad bits of being on a yacht. And I’ve enjoyed picking up knowledge from people around me. I’m definitely going to go on sailing, and this trip will have helped me build up experience towards getting more RYA qualifications.”

“In the last couple of days we sailed from Gibraltar, across the Gulf of Cadiz, and will soon be at Cape St Vincent. Last night we watched the planet Jupiter rise over Africa.”

His skipper, John said; “I have a sound regard for his ability and common sense. I think the Isle of Wight Economic Partnership made a good choice selecting Glen for this voyage.”

On the voyage Glen developed into a responsible, confident sailor and had a particular passion of fishing for their dinner!!
