Isle of Wight Ambassador Ellen MacArthur

Ellen MacArthur lives, works and trains on the Isle of Wight.  In her free time she enjoys the lifestyle on the Island with the friendly communities and wide range of outdoor activities and countryside.

She is extremely busy as a professional yachtswoman, but she somehow also finds time to work as a partner at Offshore Challenges and founded the Ellen MacArthur Trust, both offices are based on the Isle of Wight.

"The office is buzzing - new people in the team, new projects for everyone and big new challenges ahead of us all. Things have moved on a long way in our business since the early days of two of us in a portacabin a decade ago!"

Ellen dedicates much of her time to help young people on the Isle of Wight, and encourages them to aim high.  Ellen also works hard to support children recovering from cancer through her charity Ellen MacArthur Trust.
