Dental Maintenance Plan

Dental Maintenance Plan was formed in 1999 by Island dentists Ian Poplett and Alan Scaplethorn to provide payment systems for private dental patients, as from their own experience there was nothing suitable on the market. They both maintained their dental practices while running DMP, enabling them to see the industry from both sides and provide the services they could recognise were needed.

Although primarily a financial services company, DMP also had an interest in professional development and helping dental practices with their business planning - another element that Alan and Ian could see was lacking in the market.

DMP Flexi-Learn enables dental practitioners to learn new skills through a new, innovative, instructional DVD created using the latest filming and production techniques, providing students with a fully interactive learning experience. DMP Flexi-Learn has brought together teams from across the country and worldwide, using the latest video conferencing and file transfer technology to ensure that everyone can work together.

DMP and DMP Flexi-Learn are both continuing to grow and expand across the country, providing innovative products with a personal service.
