“I went from Malta to Sardinia and it was amazing, we had all types of weather and had so much fun but also learnt a lot about myself and sailing.”

“The trip has definitely given me more courage and made become a leader when I need to. I can also cook now!!! It has also changed some of my views. Sailing just used to be a hobby to me but now I feel that it could be something more than just that. I am going to continue my education but after that I am going to look into a sailing career.”

Amy was selected for the prestigious homeward leg back into Cowes, because she was challenged on the voyage but showed grit and determination. She suffered some seasickness but battled on and always cared for her fellow crew members.
