The Pink Toolbox Company
The Pink Toolbox Company was formed in 2005 after founder Rick Ganley visited his sister, to discover that she had saved all her DIY jobs for him. He realised the need for toolkits that were comfortable and attractive for women to use, and the concept for Pink Toolbox was born.
The product range began with a toolkit, but has now expanded to include a car kit, travel kit and PC repair kit, all in neat packaging – and of course all in pink. The company now supplies several major high street retailers and international stores, as well as selling direct through their website.
The Pink Toolbox won ‘Gift of the Year’ Award in 2006 and the range is constantly expanding. After initially operating out of a home office, in 2007 they made the move to the Innovation Centre to accommodate their growing staff.
