Part-time Woodland Economic Development
Officer: Salary c.£23k - £26k (FTE)
We are looking for a dynamic person to work as part of a team, with partner organisations and local businesses to increase the economic and environmental value of the Island’s woodlands.
The job holder will be required to operate as a stimulus for the expansion of the woodland products market and to positively influence key policy makers, suppliers and end users. Indusry experience will be essential. It will also be important to ensure the strategic focus of current and future funding programes deliver the maximum benefit to the sector.
Discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes for this position.
